A little life update

Hello everyone!
It's been 2 years since I last made a blogpost on here, and to anyone who used to like my posts, I am very sorry about that. I guess the best thing to do is to update you all on what has been going on.
There I am!

I graduated high school on June 26th of 2015, and I cannot begin to explain how relieved I am that it's all over. Graduation day made me realize just how much I'm going to miss my classmates, and how I should have spent way more time getting to know them than I did. Learn from my mistake if you haven't graduated yet!
Graduation day in Denmark for the high school students is very different from other graduations. We walk into the big hall, class by class with every parent in the room looking at us. In the front of the hall there are seats for every single one of us with a program and a rose on top. We sit down, sing, listen to speeches from both the principal, some teachers and even some students. Finally they start calling up the different classes in alphabetical order. You sit there and wait anxiously for it to be your class' turn, and when it finally is, you just hope for dear life that you won't stumble and fall when your name is called and you have to go get your certificate.
Time for graduation photos!

After everyone has gotten their certificate, we slowly make our way outside the school to take a photo of all the graduates standing together. And at about noon that's when the fun begins. Every class has paid an open truck to drive them around to the home of each student in that particular class. So in my case, we had to drive around to 17 different houses, since some students had their celebatory parties together. At every single stop we then get to drink whatever drinks that family provides us with, and eat whatever food they provide us with. And during the drive between each house we get to blast music as loud as we want from the truck. No complaints from anyone because this day is our day. And it's safe to say that after just 1 or 2 stops we are most definitely not sober anymore. Every stop lasts about 20 mins so you can imagine just how long a day it's going to be.
And I can assure you that I have not had that much fun in ages! One of the best days of my life.

The beautiful truck! We were a lot more people on there when it left the school.

Something else that I am very pleased to share with you all (and also quite a terrifying thought) is that I got into university and will be studying biology (the dream!). I was so anxious and nervous about getting in or not, and now that it's a reality I am even more nervous! But let's save that for another blog post.
I hope you enjoyed my first post back in a while! I have made a list of possible blog post ideas, so I should be able to keep it alive this time!
Love you all,
Wolfie x
