My usual breakfast choices

Hello my lovelies! <3
Today I thought I’d share what I eat for breakfast! I have 2 main things I eat in the morning. What I choose usually depends on what mood I’m in or how much time I have :)
Let’s face it. On school mornings we’re always in a bit of a hurry and we don’t have much time to cook up anything fancy. On those days I eat oats :D
I use the following recipe.

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon oats (rolled or glutenfree)
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut milk
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
  • 1 apple (depends on the size of course)
I also use other toppings than these, but the mentioned ones above are my usual choices.
Strawberries, goji berries, banana or kiwi are great choices as well! Any fruit basically. You can also add nuts if that's what floats your boat ;)

Here are a few pictures of the different toppings I've used with my morning oats :D
This is my usual breakfast. Oats with shredded coconut and a small apple.
I usually eat this on school days since it's so quick and easy to make.

Here I used an apple, shredded coconut and goji berries. So delicious! :D

Here I just used shredded coconut and goji berries (we didn't have any apples left)
Seriously. Goji berries are like my addiction!

This is my breakfast on days where I have either a long school day or an exam.
Just oats topped with the usual shredded coconut. I also added strawberries, blueberries and rasberries.
To make sure I had plenty of energy for the day, I took a hardboiled egg and put it on a piece of rye bread.
Super delicious and very filling!

And here is the last picture of some of my topping combinations!
Shredded coconut, grapes and gojiberries :D

If I'm more in the mood for something salty and rich on protein, I make bacon and eggs.
Just remember to drain the fat from the bacon once it's cooked! My parents buy the type of bacon which is already cut into small bite-size pieces. It makes it a whole lot easier to drain the fat. If you make bacon strips then put them on a piece of paper towel. I always make sure to put one on top of the bacon as well.

Ingredients:

  • Bacon (about a handful of if you measure after the bite-size ones)
  • 1½ eggs
  • 1 small onion or half a big onion
  • 2 - 3 cloves of garlic (I hope that's what 1 piece of garlic means haha :P )
First put the bacon on a pan on your stove. To be honest it doesn't really matter what the heat is at. I just use 6 out of 6 (highest) but I add the bacon while the pan is still heating up. After the bacon has released most of its fat, drain it and then add the chopped up onion and garlic (chop it to your own liking). Cook the onions and garlic with the bacon until they're a little bit see-through.
If you'd rather cook bacon strips instead, you just cook the onions and garlic with a little bit of oil on a seperate pan.
Then cook the eggs however you like them served after finishing the bacon. I always go for scrambled eggs :)
I never season my eggs with salt and pepper since the bacon is salty enough for me. But you can of course do that as well. It isn't exactly a difficult dish to master :P
There is really only one picture to show of this since it doesn't really change appearance :P
Sometimes I take about 5-8 almonds on the side. Healthy fats :)

Last but not least I like to eat my banana and oat pancakes for breakfast. I have already posted about them earlier. Here's a link that will take you to the recipe.
Ain't this a cheeky picture?! Just look at it! :D

So those are my usual breakfast choices. If you have any recipes or other things you eat for breakfast, feel free to share them below in the comments section! I'd love to try out some new things :)

That's it for today. Peace out.
Love,
Wolfie <3

Motivation

Hey everyone :)

Today I decided to share with you all what my ultimate motivation for losing weight is. Maybe it will help you get motivated and get moving :)

To explain my story, let's start when I was little. I wasn't always an overweight child. At one point I even weighed less than most of my friends.
I can't remember how old I was, but around a time when school had not yet started for me, I got sick. Not just sick, but very sick. I got juvenile idiopathic arthritis in my legs. To explain this disease to you all, it is a very painful thing. Your entire body gets stiffer for every day, you can't walk, your joints get swollen, you feel a lot of pain and you lose your appetite. I distinctly remember how I could barely eat anything. One of my clearest memories from when I was in the hospital was how I got my dinner. I would eat a tiny bite of chicken and a tiny bite of the bread and then I just couldn't eat anymore.
On top of all the mentioned problems that occur, you also get flu like symptoms. There is just a catch with this disease. Those symptoms don't go away. I had a deadly high fever for weeks on end and I am lucky to still be alive to this day to tell you about my story.
At one point the doctors highly considered force feeding me. Luckily that never happened.
I had this disease for about 4 months and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.

After I got rid of it, I slowly started gaining weight. I got to a healthy weight again and from there it just took off until I was overweight. We're not talking 10 kgs when I was little. It was just enough extra weight to be noticed but it was nothing huge.
Then the bullying started. There was a boy and a girl in my class who bullied pretty much everyone, but since I reacted very strongly to whatever they said to me, I was an obvious target. I still remember some of the crap they let out about me. Bullying quickly became a part of my every day but since I had a group of friends who were very supportive, I didn't listen to them... or so I thought. There is just this amazing little thing about the brain. It stores memories you wish you could just forget. As a result of all this bullying, I lost a lot of my self-esteem and I had no confidence and I still don't. I started comfort eating, even though I can't really remember this very well.

When I had my confirmation (and now I realize how stupid that was since I don't believe in god) I of course needed to buy a beautiful white dress. I remember how I broke down crying because I couldn't fit into any of the clothes I wish I could.
In 2011 I lost my grandmother. Right at the same time I nearly lost one of my best friends as well. That made me comfort eat a lot more than anything had ever done in my life.

I have always struggled a lot with my weight. I've tried a huge variety of diets and lifestyle changes but nothing helped because I was never dedicated enough. And let's face it. An 11 year old needs a lot of motivation in order to lose weight.

But here I am today. 17 years old and I have changed my life around. I don't want that excess weight. I don't want to hide every summer because I'm too afriad to go outside in a bikini. I want to wear shorts. I want to wear those dresses that show off your figure. And you know what? I will get there. Maybe not before this summer vacation, but I will have reached my goal by next year. I won't take a no for an answer. I won't let myself die unhappy because I didn't take control of my life.
How your body looks; how much exercise you do; how your life is. All of that is up to you. You can't blame society for how you look. There are only excuses as to how you feel but YOU can change that.
That is what I have told myself. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. And that is why I have put up with this for too long. It's time to change how I have lived for 17 years and make my life different. I want to be happy and healthy and I will be!
So to sum up all of that. No matter your story and your history, and no matter what the reason as to why you're overweight; YOU are the only one standing in the way of getting to where you want.
I have never had a boyfriend. I have never even had that first kiss. I have been bullied and put down my entire life but I am done with that.
And that is what my motivation is.
Find what your motivation is. Write it down and keep it in the back of your head every day. That is what I do and that is what keeps me fighting for what I want.

I hope that helped inspire some of you :)
Love,
Wolfie <3

P.S I'm off making some pancakes ;)

Healhy banana and oatmeal cookies

Hello my lovlies! <3

Today I made some healthy cookies since there's the Eurovision and the Preakness Stakes tonight! :D
So let's get on with the recipe, shall we? ;)

Ingredients:

  • 3 small ripe bananas (or 2 big ones)
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 ½ table spoon acacie honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • A pinch of salt

Steps:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C.
  2. Mash the bananas. Add everything but the almonds and the raisins.
  3. After getting a dough like consitency, add in the almonds and raisins.
  4. Get out a few baking sheets. Create the cookies by using a tablespoon per cookie. Press them down with the back of a tablespoon. This will make them a bit more cookie like in the end result
  5. Cook the cookies for 35 minutes. During the time they're in the oven, turn them around so they bake evenly.
  6. Take them out and let them cool for half an hour.
  7. Enjoy!

Don't you just want to devour the entire plate?!
They were absolutely delicious and I will make them again for sure! You can always use dark chocolate instead of the raisins by the way ;)

So today I went for a run! Nearly 4 km in 30 minutes! Once I got home I drank half a liter of water because it was 24 degrees when I went running! Then I thought I'd do a few more exercises. That resulted in 50 squats and 50 crunches (sit-ups). My tummy hurts and I wobble when I walk, but that's just good :D

See you next time!
Love,
Wolfie

Healthy ice cream

Hello my lovelies <3

Healthy ice cream say whaaaaaaaaaaat? Yup you read correctly! There is such a thing as healthy ice cream. It was become my regular snack on hot days and my dessert on weekends! It’s super delicious and super easy to make; so easy that I laughed a bit when I saw the recipe. I have only found out how to make banana ice cream so far, but if I find out how to make other kinds, I will let you know of course! I’m going to try test some different things out the next few weeks so stay tuned ;)
So in this post I’ll be talking about healthy banana ice cream.

I don’t even need to make an ingredients list. If it’s a snack then use 1 banana. If it’s a dessert then 1-2 bananas per person.

What to do:
  1. Cut the banana(s) into chunks. No need to finely cut it; big chunks are perfectly fine.
  2. Put the chunks in a container and then put it in the freezer. Let them stay in there until they’re as frozen as ice cubes. I let mine stay in the freezer for at least 5 hours or overnight.
  3. Take the chunks out and put them in a blender. Simply blend them until it has got the ice cream texture. If it doesn’t blend very well add very little water. The more you add, the more runny it becomes and it gets a smoothie texture and not an ice cream texture like we want ;)
  4. Eat it! If it’s a snack you can eat it with other fruit of your choice and if it’s a dessert, I eat it with chopped up pieces of 70% or darker chocolate. It’s absolutely divine either way :)

This is what the result should look like (if you decide to add chocolate of course) ;)
Just look at this yumminess! And so easy!

This is the chocolate I use when topping my ice cream ;)
Super yummy!
This morning I went for a run and the idiot I am, I forgot my keys in the apartment so I locked myself out... Silly me. Anyways, I went for my run and I have improved SO much since I started! I ran nearly the entire 4 km and I only took 3 breaks; each being about 2-2½ minutes long. I'm really proud, especially considering I haven't gone running since the 6th of May because I've been sick.
After finally getting into my apartment after waiting for my mom to get home, I took a shower and then it was time for breakfast. Yesterday I made some pancakes (the ones I've already posted the recipe of; there's a link to them here). Mainly so I had some breakfast today. But I thought I'd top them off with something different than the usual boring toppings. So I thought to myself, why not top them with some of the ice cream? It's healthy after all ;)
And here is the result of that! I added water to the blender when blending the bananas and it turned into a very cold smoothie haha :P
But it was SO yummy!
The not to presentable food but what the heck? It was too good!

So that was it for this post but I'm hoping to write some more this week! :)
I have a busy weekend coming up. No school until Tuesday next week! So I have plenty of time for morning runs again! I'm going to a racing stable one of the next upcoming days in the morning which I'm super excited about. Lots of horseracing this week! ;)

See you all very soon!

Wolfie <3

Banana & Oat Pancakes

Hello my lovelies!

Since it's Mothers Day I decided to do a little something for my mom, and of course the rest of the family. I made some yummy breakfast! And best of all, it's a healthier choice! We were out of glutenfree oats, but they would be glutenfree if you were to make them with glutenfree oats (obviously).
I thought I'd share the recipe I found! It's super delicous and I added some pictures I took while cooking them up today ;)

So let's get started!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled (or glutenfree) oats
  • 1 1/4 cups milk (I used hazelnut milk)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoons maple syrup (or agave nectar)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg
Here are the ingredients I used. I forgot to put the salt in the picture... of course! Typical me :P
Since I had just run out of vanilla extract, I used vanilla sugar. A good tip: use a vanilla bean instead ;)
They're really simple to make! Just add all ingredients, except the egg in a blender and let it blend until the mixture is lovely and smooth (meaning no banana chunks!).
A cheeky little picture of the ingredients in the blender. I thought it looked cool.... O:)
After the mixture has been blended to a completely smooth texture, add in the egg and blend, blend, blend!
Depending on how thick you want your pancake batter, blend for however long you want. If you want the classical thick American pancakes, blend it for about 3-5 minutes. You have to be able to pour the mixture, so if it's too thick just add some extra milk ;)
If you want the thinner pancakes (which I call Danish Pancakes) just add more milk so the mixture is runny and thin, but not so much that it splits of course.
I made mine more like the American pancakes. Let's face it; I'm a sucker for American yumminess ;)
Then it's time to cook these delicous pancakes! You can use either coconut oil or butter. I recommend using butter since it add this hint of nuttiness which is absolutely delicous! Coconut oil is very delicous to use as well so I recommend both! If you want to prevent your butter from burning (which results in burning your pancakes) add the butter and add a bit of coconut oil as well. This will give you the flavor from the butter and prevent it from burning :)
As you can see I used butter ;)

And the first pancake is on the pan! Fry my little baby, fry! :D
Let them cook on each side until they're lovely and have a golden finish ;)
It should be illegal showing you guys this godlike pancake...
The great thing about this batter is that, if it's made thick enough it doesn't break very easily.

And here is the finished stack! I ate one for tasting... I am sure you can make plenty more than I did from this recipe. I started out by making mine the size of a 1/3 cup but decided to make them 1/4 cups instead :)
That basically means I used a 1/3 and a 1/4 cup measurement to measure the amount of batter I used per pancake.
Here is the glorious stack!
I will recommend making a bowl of lovely fruits to go with your pancakes! I did so and it adds both beauty and nutrients to your lovely breakfast ;)
I used:
  • 2 apples
  • 2 bananas
  • 6 strawberries
You can add whatever your heart desires in a fruit salad! I highly recommend squeezing an orange or 2 over the fruit and let it sit overnight in the juice ;)

Just look at it! It speaks for itself :P

Toppings!
These are the toppings I recommend if you don't just want fruit on top. Maple syurp (use wisely! It contains a ton of sugar which kind of defeats the purpose), akacia honey (or agave nectar; the nectar tastes just like honey) or Sukrin. Sukrin is a natural alternative to sugar. It has 0 calories but tastes yummy! I strongly recommend this stuff since it's super great.

Just look at it...
And here is the finished result! I took a picture of my moms pancake since mine wasn't as presentable... hehe :P
It was SO yummy! You must go make them sometime soon or whenever you have time! It's seriously worth it!

A little update on me (if you're interested haha).
I have been sick for the past week meaning I haven't been able to go running or anything :(
So tonight I'm going to see if I feel well enough for a run. Otherwise I'll go tomorrow! It's important to listen to your body! :)
I will post a delicous dessert/snack recipe tomorrow! You're gonna go nuts for it I swear! :P

It was lovely writing another blog post, so until next time;
See you all laters!
Love,
Wolfie <3

A Lovely Weekend in May

Hello my lovelies! <3

In all honesty, I've missed writing blog posts! Just needed to think of the right thing to talk about :)
So I came to the conclusion that I would share my weekend experiences with you all!

Friday was a lovely day. School was from 8:10 am to 11:35 am. From there I could go home and enjoy my day. I went home and cooked up some clean lunch and I finished making a video for YouTube :)
A very healthy and good tip for the future me; NEVER make a huge portion of lunch. Even if you had a small breakfast... I have learned my lesson.
After rendering that, I had to go running. The weather was absolutely beautiful! I will go for runs at around 3 or 4 pm more often for sure!
This is a little cheeky picture I took while running! I absolutely love running down here. So beautiful :)
After getting back I thought it was apropriate to take a little shower because I really pushed myself when running. Then it was off to school again. I was there at about 5 pm or so. Now you might be wondering why I would go back to my school on a Friday evening. Well the deal at my school is, all the 1st years have to make some type of entertainment/restaurant for the 2nd and 3rd years before our annual Spring Prom. We have 2 proms a year at my school... because.... yeah well we're awesome :P
Oh and to those who don't know, I go to high school. It's pretty much just 3 years (usually from when you're 16-19 years old) and it can be compared to A-levels in England I guess.
So after stressing out to begin with, we started relaxing and once the customers were done eating, we could clean up and get ready to party. Sadly though I didn't join. The dress I waned to wear, didn't fit so I decided to join a friend of mine for a movie night. I am so thankful I did. We watched The Shawshank Redemption and that movie was AMAZING. Seriously go watch it! It will be worth every minute!
We finished watching movies at around midnight and then I headed home. Luckily we live about 400 m away from each other so it wasn't exactly a long travel home. After getting home I simply couldn't stay awake any longer and I went to bed.
Now I don't know if I'm the only person who does this. In the weekends, if I go to bed at midnight or around there, I sleep for like 12 hours. If I go to bed at 10 or 11 pm I only sleep around 8 hours... I know, I'm weird.
So I slept half my Saturday away. But that was alright because I barely had any plans. I cooked up some brunch for myself. This time I made sure to make a smaller portion. I basically spent the day pampering myself and relaxing and enjoying the day. Towards the evening, about an hour before dinner, I thought to myself "why not go for a run again?". So I did! 2 days in a row and I pushed myself so hard yesterday, I am still sore. But sore is good! If you feel nothing, it means you didn't push yourself hard enough and pushing yourself results in progress! Good little tip when working out ;)
So after getting back home, I washed up and ate some dinner. I then sat down with my parents and watched Dead Poets Society. I love that movie! Mainly because I see a rather cute and, in my opinion, also rather good looking Robert Sean Leonard! Yup! The guy from House M.D. :D
Love him!
After watching that movie, I put some snacks together and sat down with my computer.
Here's a little picture of my snack because... ya know.... people love food pictures! ;)
Just some grapes, 4 dates and 70%  Moser Roth chocolate!

For all the horse racing fans out there you will know what a HUGE day it was yesterday! That's right! Derby day :D
And I am still so greatful that a friend of mine would go through a ton of technical problems to help me watch it live!
To explain the situation, here we go. I was sitting in lil' ol' Denmark and here we can't watch the Derby live. Anywhere... So I spoke to a friend of mine about the Derby and after a little bit of figuring out a plan, she put her laptop in front of her tv and called me on skype. From there on I could watch the Derby live and talk with her a little bit as well which was super fun! I'll be joining her the same way for the Preakness and the Belmont if all goes well! :D
Anywho, I watched the Derby live (still can't believe it) and I congratulate Orb on his Derby win. He deserved to win even if I didn't vote for him. Revolutionary is gonna take him in the Preakness if they're both entered, just wait ;)
So after staying up until 2 am (!!!!) to watch the race, I headed to bed. I don't think I really thought that through very well. My little brother had a friend staying over. Little brother + friend = morning loudness!
I barely slept until 9 am with those 2 monsters in the next room...
And before finishing off this post, I want to quickly explain my Sunday. I went to a birthday party and it was so fun and relaxing!
Here's a picture of one of the cutest cats I have ever met. Findus and she's so cuddely! :D
Just look at her whiskers -cries from cuteness-
Did eat a little bit of the unhealthy stuff though. I'm going running tomorrow to make up for that. I would have gone running for a third day in a row but I was too sore.
So after spending my day there from 1 pm to 5 pm, I headed home. On the way my family and I quickly stopped by at a friends house to see her new apartment. Let's just say, I know where I can afford to move to when I want to get out of the house of the family!
I decided to add a picture of my dinner. Whole grain food is ok to eat when eating clean ;)
So this was my dinner (plus 6 cherry tomatoes) and I didn't need more than that.
It looks like it's way too little but if you think so, just eat more veggies. I personally didn't need more than that.
And now I am sitting here on my way to bed. I know this might not have interested very many of you, but the fact that you took a look and maybe even read the entire thing means a lot to me.
So thanks for joining me on a lovely Sunday evening and I hope you enjoyed reading that! :)

See you all next time,
Love, Wolfie <3

That one friend

Hello my lovelies! <3

I got an idea for a blog post, so I decided to write it while I had it in mind! :D
So let's get started.

Does anyone else have that one friend that stands out in the crowd? The one you can tell anything and they will never judge you? In fact they might even say they do the same thing as you, have the same problem etc.? They understand you and support you no matter what's wrong and how you're feeling? They basically have your back no matter what? Basically someone you can call your other half?
Basically that one person who is perfect, who accepts you and you wish you could spend every day with?

Well I do. I actually have 2. And I can't begin to explain how thankful I am to have them. And you know what the weirdest part of it all is? I have never met them in person. Never.
They don't even live in the same country as me, or each other for that matter. One lives in Australia. Now this girl has been to hell and back. She has been through so much that if you heard her story, you would be amazed why she's still here. I have now lost count of how many times I've been close to losing her, and for 6 whole minutes in December of 2011 I actually did lose her. Now 6 minutes doesn't seem like much, but when I say lose, I mean lose in a way I could never get her back. Not unless I gave up on this world myself and went to the heavens to search for her personally. She means the absolute world to me and I can't begin to explain how much she has changed me and how much I've changed her. We don't always like the same things, and so what? We're ying and yang and they go together perfectly. She always has my back and I have hers. All she has to do is call. I can't remember how many times, but I'm sure it's more than enough times where she thought I would leave because of what has happened to her in the past. The truth is, a true friend never leaves anyone behind. That's not what a friend does. What I think makes this story unique is that I asked her about a video she had made about the one and only Black Caviar. And from there, we started talking!
I love this girl with all my heart and more and I hope that one day I can see her in person and tell her myself.

The other lives in America. Sweet old America. I used to live there once when I was younger. Who would have known that she lived in the state right above mine? Now at first I have to be honest. I didn't know this girl and she kinda freaked me out a little bit. Mainly because I had never really spoken to her and she was making birthday videos for me and all. But then in 2012 when all hell broke lose with my Australian friend, we started talking. And I realized what a pearl she was. Truly one of the nicest people I know. She is my soulmate and sometimes it feels like she is a long lost sister of mine, because DAMN do we have a lot in common. Sometimes I swear it's scary! How close we've gotten since the end of last year is crazy.

Who would have thought that I'd be this close to 2 people I met over YouTube? YouTube! For christs sake! I can tell them anything and they will listen. They're always there for me and they have my back if anything goes wrong. I don't just have 1 of that perfect friend. I have 2. One on each side of the globe. One is 8 hours in front of my timezone and the other is 9 hours behind it. 2 perfect friends who I love more than words can explain.

This blog post was a bit different. I just really needed to get it off of my chest and I really hope you guys have atleast one friend like this. I was lucky enough to be granted with 2 of them. Unique, beautiful and perfect in every way possible. I love them dearly.

Bye until next time! <3

Getting fit

Hello my dears! <3

I really need to start writing more often... I'm still getting used to all this blog posting and all! So anyways, yes today I'm going to write about something a little different. I was kind of hoping to inspire a few people out there :)
So anyways, here we go!
On Monday April 9th I decided to change my life around. I have always been the person who hated her body. And one day I just said to myself "well if you're so unhappy about it, then why don't you do something about it?".
That got me thinking a lot. I have always been overweight ever since I was little. I've never really had the motivation to even try lose the extra weight because I never had anyone to help me. The thing is, you will not always have someone to help you. In the real world, you'll be by yourself and fight all you can on your own. Yes it is super difficult to begin with, but once you get started and once you see those results, you just want to keep going! I have only had this new lifestyle for 2 weeks and yes it gets tough but really you're just taking way better care of your body!
First huge step is to say no to all the junk you could eat during a day. Now I'm not trying to sound all posh like those overenthustiastic women on tv etc.
This is how it's actually done. Diet? Nope. You can't go on a diet and expect all the lost weight during the diet to not come back. I've heard of this diet where you only eat apples and drink water. That might make you lose weight but think about it. If you start eating crap after that 1 week diet, do you really think all that weight you lost won't come back?
First you need the right mindset. Don't think "I want to be skinny", think that you want to get fit. Getting fit looks, feels and is better than being skinny. You need to be able to say no to the cake you get offered at a birthday party. You need to be able to keep your hands out of that chips bowl at the sleepover party. You need to be able to say no to those sweets cravings on a Thursday night. But having to say no to all that doesn't mean you can't treat yourself. Take some fruit instead or think to yourself if you're actually hungry right now.
To get fit and healthy you have to change your life around, but trust me it will be worth it whether you like it to begin with or not. Because at one point you're going to love it more than anything.
You need to sleep a minimum of 8 hours a day. Now, I'm a student who goes to high school. I get off around 3:30 pm quite often which means I have less time for whatever I want to do after school. But I still don't make excuses! A must if you want to see results with the weight and also just in the mirror, is that you go to bed at 10 pm. It might sound early but that is what helps. You can of course lay in your bed and read or do the last bits of homework. No electronics in that period of time is a little rule though! By turning off the electronics, you let your brain relax and it's easier to fall asleep.
2nd thing you must do is to drink water. And lots of it! 2 liters of water is the least you should drink every day and more is just better! :D
So we have now covered sleeping and drinking lots of water. Now comes the 2 key ingredients to a saucey body!
When changing your lifestyle you have to focus 30 % of it on working out and the other 70 % on what you put in your mouth. Eating clean is the healthiest and easiest way to get fitter. Eating clean basically means that you have to avoid processed foods. Eat a lot of vegestables, meat is also important when doing clean eating, only eat whole grains in your food and fruit is your best friend when having the sweets cravings! There are plenty of ways to make delicious food when eating clean. If I come across anything to die for I will share it ;)
Now if you're like me and you're very self conscious, you don't need the gym. Well if you want the abs and the whole package, the gym is a great way to start. I on the other hand will explain in a later post, why I can't go to the gym. Anyways instead of coming up with excuses for not excerising, look outside your window. Is the weather crappy? Who cares! You still have a world to explore and you can do that by putting on some running shoes and bringing your iPod. I go for a run every second day and I run for a minimum of 30 mins. On the days I don't run, I do exercises at home. Squats, crunches etc. Easy to do home workouts :)
I think I should go a bit more into detail in future posts about that!
But let's sum it all up.
To lose weight in a healthy way, you need to change your lifestyle. No excuses! Don't say "I'll start tomorrow" when you can start today ;)

1. Sleep
2. Mindset
3. Water (it's your best friend!)
4. Eat clean and eat right
5. Exercise

That was the blog post for today and I hope you guys enjoyed reading it :)
I enjoyed writing it! I will post my progress once I feel ready for it.

Love you all!
Wolfie out -makes peace sign with fingers-

P.S. I lost 1,6 kgs in one week! If I can you can too :)

Birthday Celebrations

As the title might tell you, yes it is my birthday today! I have now turned 17 and to be honest I still can't believe it! I've had an amazing day with all of my friends, lots of sweets and my family helped celebrate me too of course. I love the things I got and even though they were few, I appreciate each and everyone of the gifts. It means so much to me that I even got what I did since it was pretty expensive.
First off I got One Direction concert tickets!! SUPER excited about those. May 10th please hurry up and get here already!

The second gift I got was a trip to Germany this summer to see 2 of my best friends. I still can't really believe I will be in Germany for 2 entire weeks, being forced to speak German but otherwise only speaking English. That is crazy to think about! These are the 2 nutcases who I will join this summer. But more importantly, they will join ME here in Denmark during the Easter Holidays!

Since I got an iPhone 5 for Christmas, that gift counts as both a Christmas AND birthday present. I love it so much so I really appreciate that gift!

My little brother forgot to get me anything, although usually my parents buy the presents from him anyways, so he decided to give me two books that shall be at my doorstep sooner or later. I can't wait to read them! Article 5 and Breaking Point.
Since I am a HUGE fan of Zoella, I have wanted to get my hair ombréd for nearly half a year now, so my parents have given me a bit of money to help that little dream come true.
And last but not least, I got a gift card from some of my friends :D
Just to clear things up, I'm not trying to brag with what I got. I am just cheerful and happy right now which is a huge difference from last year.
But I won't go into depressing details in this blog post. Might be in a future one to come! ;)
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this blog post and I will get back to you soon with a new one. I seriously need to keep this blog going. I love writing and this is a great way for me to do what I love!

Love you all! See you soon :* <3

Something new

Hello there and welcome to my new blog!
I've never tried this before and I am quite a newbie, but I do love to write and I hope this becomes succesful. I thought that to begin with, I should tell you all a little bit about myself. So you know something about me and we're not total strangers ;)
Since I simply adore Zoella from youtube, I will answer the questions she answered in this video. If you don't know her (which I highly doubt), go subscribe her youtube and follow her blog! :)

About Me Questions:

Do you have a middle name?
Not a real name like 'Isabella' or 'Sophie', but I guess I do. If it counts, my middle name is 'Gall'. I know... weird right? :P

What is your favourite subject in school?
Biology or english.

What's your favourite drink?
Faxe kondi! It's a Danish soda brand and it's so amazing. I have several friends from outside of Denmark who are in love with it. You should try it if you ever visit the country. On a VERY close second though, is Arizona tea! GOSH I love that stuff!

Favourite song at the moment?
My absolute favorite song at the moment is Hallelujah - Safety Suit. I've always loved the original song but this cover is so powerful! Whenever I listen to it I'm speechless. Just ask anyone around me! You can listen to it here.

What would you name your children?
I haven't really thought much about this to be honest. I guess I'd like to savour the moment for when I actually have children.

Do you participate in any sports?
I don't really if I have to be honest. But I do love horseracing with a burning passion! Yes, you've come across a horse nutter.

Favourite Book?
I think it's safe to say that the entire Harry Potter series is my favorite. Although if I had to choose 1 book out of all 7, I'd choose either Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone or Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. To answer why, it's because it's both the beginning and the end of the whole story of Harry Potter and therefore I love both very much :)

Favourite Colour?
Blue is my favorite color. Mostly because I find it so soothing and calming and I just love the look of it! Now you might be wondering why I chose a more pink-ish theme for my blog if I love blue so much. To answer that question, I love pink a lot as well although blue wins ;)

Favourite Animal?
I will make this an answer to 'Favorite Animals' instead. Horses are my all-time favorite animals, but I also adore wolves and clouded leopards!

Favourite perfume?
My favorite perfume is Radiance by Britney Spears. I love it and it's my all-time favorite.

Favourite holiday?
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love the atmosphere and just the overall feeling of Christmas is amazing. I love giving gifts to my friends and family and also the amount of time you spend together is amazing! You always become closer over Christmas in my opinion :)

Have you graduated High School?
No I have not. I am in my first year actually. Before you go and think I'm a child, I would like to explain to you the way high school works in Denmark. We go to elementary school from the age of 6 until the age of 16. After that we go to high school for 3 years before we graduate and can choose an education at a univeristy/college. I will be 17 on March 11th :)

Have you been out of the Country?
I actually have quite a few times. I have been to Germany more times than I can count since I have family there. I have also been to Sweden, Norway (both of those were extremly short visits), Italy, Austria, Enland and, last but not least, America. When I was 10 until I was 11. I lived in California for a year and I wish I could go back. I absolutely loved it over there! I hope to move back sometime in the future as well.

Do you speak any other Languages?
Well since I come from Denmark, I do speak both Danish and (obviously) English. And I guess I can add German to the list since I have it at school. Won't say I'm very good though :P

Do you have any siblings?
Yes I do. A little brother. We fight a lot and I do admit that sometimes he annoys me to the point where I could smack him, but he is my brother and therefore I love him.

What's your favourite store?
This is going to sound really weird... from all the stores I could choose from, I will have to say that Ikea is my favorite. I know... I'm weird. Don't judge me! I love decorating rooms and seeing all that furniture makes me want to move it around and build the perfect bedrooms! Or put together my dream kitchen and living room. I could spend forever in there just trying to figure out what goes together. So yeah... random answer :P

Favourite Restaurant?
Vapiano. I went to this restaurant in Berlin a few years back. I have been there once (ONCE!) and it won as the best ever. I have always loved italian food and this restaurant seriously does the job perfectly of making this delicious food! You have to go there if you ever find it!

Do you like school?
No... instead of going on and on about why I don't like it, I will give you my only reason for why I do like it. My classmates. I simply love (nearly) all my classmates and they are the only reason why I haven't just quit. The support I get and the fun I have with them is my reason to stay.

Favourite YouTubers?
How was I ever going to make this list short? I guess the only way to do so is to not mention any fandom or equine editors. So here is the list for you all (if you press the names, it will take you to their youtube channel). Zoella280390, Beckie0, ConnorFranta, PointlessBlog, ThatcherJoe, Macbarbie07, Jennxpenn, Jc Caylen, StilaBabe09, JacksGap, MarcusButlerTV, Jim Chapman and last but not least Danisnotonfire. What a mouthful! But there you go! Those are my favorite youtubers! :)

Favourite Movie?
Here I will have to say either any of the Harry Potter movies, or the movie Secretariat. I can't choose one favorite movie. It is impossible!

Favourite Tv show?
This list could be miles long since I love so many tv shows. My all-time favorite tv show will always be Friends. I've grown up with it, just like I have with Harry Potter and I can't ever get tired of it.

Pc or Mac?
I have a Pc as my computer, although I do wish I had a Mac. I think the biggest reason why I'd rather have a Pc is because they're so easy to work with, and because I can have my dear Sony Vegas for editing videos.

What phone do you have?
I have an iPhone 5. Fancy huh? Since I was 11, I've only ever had 4 phones. 2 of them were Nokias and the last 2 were iPhones. I had my last iPhone (3Gs) for nearly 3 years and it barely worked because it was so old, which resulted in me getting an iPhone 5 for Christmas.

How tall are you?
The last time my height was checked, I was 163 cm tall :)

13 Personal Questions:
What do you order at Starbucks?
I always order a Caramel Cream! I have never ordered anything besides that.

One thing in your closet you cannot live without.
Leggings. I barely ever wear pants (even when it snows!) so I always make sure I have at least 1 pair of clean leggings ready to wear.

What's one thing most people probabaly don't know about you?
A thing barely anyone knows about me (or believes) is that I have social anxiety disorder. It might not seem like I have it, but I do. I think I'll do a blog post soon about social anxiety.

Name one thing you want to do before you die.
Meet all my closest friends around the world who I love very much!

What's one food you cannot live without?
Chocolate. I just can't... -innocent face-

What quote/phrase do you live by?
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I love that so so much! I know it's from a song but I love it too much to care! :P

What do you like/disslike about the YouTube community?
I really hate how easily people can recieve hate on youtube. Just one angry person (or just mean in general) and another persons day is ruined.

What's your most listened to song on itunes?
No doubt it's a One Direction or Ed Sheeran song! I don't have itunes but I'm pretty sure.

What kind of style would you define yourself as having?
Casual and relaxed although I do admit I wish I could pull off a bit more interesting things.

Favourite number?
Once again you're going to see why I'm known as the horse nutter... 1973. Yes. It's a number AND a year. My favorite racehorse ever (Secretariat) did some incredible things in racing history that year, and therefore that is my favorite number. I'm not the simple type to choose 11 or 6 :P

Two Hobbies?
Horseracing and ice skating! :)

Two Pet Peeves?
I can't stand it when people sit and make little noises or start whistleing... it always annoys me a lot. One of my other pet peeves is when people power walk to get in front of me and then slow down to snail speed... or if the person in front of you simply stops walking. Gah....

Guilty Pleasures?
Oh where to begin ;) Let's just say that chocolate is on the list :P

So there you have it! That was... a bit of information about me! I hope you enjoyed and maybe you'll follow me for future blog posts? :)
